Sam Watasa

Mr. Watasa has extensive expertise in competition policy and regulatory enforcement.

He is currently a Commissioner and Board Vice Chairperson of the COMESA Competition Commission, former Commissioner at the East African Community Competition Authority, Executive Director of the Uganda Consumer Protection Association (UCPA), and Chairperson of the Technical Petroleum Committee under Uganda’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development.
